I made this video as an introduction to my playing.
It shows you several different styles, some of the over 500 pieces I play.
If you need to hire a piano / keyboard player I'd love the opportunity.
Entertaining is what I love to do.
This is me several years (and 80lbs) ago playing a beautiful Estonia grand piano at the NAMM trade show in Anaheim, CA.
Playing: The end of a piece I wrote, a rock version of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, and excerpts from Billy Joel's Rootbeer Rag.
More videos below this one and on my Youtube channel.
Or if you find yourself in our area (Bucksport Maine, it's near Bangor) stop by my music studio.
A bit of rock improvisation on my Roland RD-88 Keyboard, organ and some walking bass.
Do you have a venue that is looking forward to celebrating Valentine's Day?
Would you like a live entertainer for your event, one who can play hundreds of pieces including many that are perfect for Valentine's Day?
I'm based in Bucksport (Maine), covering most of Downeast and Midcoast.
Here's a short video I made playing a few things on my piano.
(I bring an amazing digital piano that can simulate piano/organ/strings/brass and more!)
Just having some fun with one of my keyboards. Did it in one take so there are some errors, but it was still fun to make!
This is a recording I made of one of my original compositions.
Recorded at a studio in NH on a Steinway grand.
Recorded on a Yamaha P-80 digital piano using a Flip Video. Should have loosened up my fingers more before starting :-) A friend told me when she heard it she immediately thought about water cascading down the wall of names at 911 ground zero.
I made this video live in one take. About 35 minutes of Christmas Music
This is a piece called Happy Hanukkah My Friend.
I speak the words and play the music.
I often sit at the piano for a while just before going to bed. Frequently I'm just improvising. This was one of those times. Although I usually don't bother to record my doodling I decided to capture this one, mostly because people often tell me I should record them even if I decide not to keep them. Recorded on February 10, 2021
Playing a few Christmas Carols on my Estonia L-190 grand piano. My piano has a midi system installed (from PianoDisc) which is why you hear the "voices" singing along with the music. Was going along fine until my phone (used to record) fell off the piano cheek block.
